L'Oreal has some of my favourite affordable foundations and is actually one of my all time favourite drugstore brands. Their products are just so high quality for an affordable price and are easily accessible.
After recently discovering the Pro Glow Foundation by L'Oreal and being a huge fan of that foundation I decided to pick up the Fresh Wear foundation to test next and I’ve been using it for a couple of months now so I thought now would be a good time to write my review on it.

My Review:
My skin is usually pretty clear i don't have problematic skin and I don't tend to get breakouts so I don't particularly use foundation to cover up anything besides a little bit of redness on my cheeks but in saying that I still really enjoy wearing foundation I like how it evens out my skin and makes me feel more confident.
When I first used this foundation I was really surprised at how thin, liquidy and lightweight the formula was. So much so that I was convinced it wasn't going to give me much coverage but that wasn't the case at all I was pleasantly surprised by the medium to full coverage I was able to get with this foundation.
With one layer you get a good medium coverage but it can be easily built up to full coverage with a second layer without looking or feeling heavy or cakey. The finish in my opinion is a natural looking finish. It's not quite matte but not overly dewy either. It’s a really nice finish.
I have been loving how my skin looks and feels while wearing this foundation it gives you the appearance of soft looking skin and out of all the foundations I have tried this one looks the most like skin it just looks so natural. It feels like I have nothing on my skin it really does have a breathable feel on the skin and it is very hydrating.
I find that this foundation is great at covering up my redness and it evens out my skin tone nicely. After just one layer any redness I have is covered. I also have dry skin and it looks pretty great on my skin it doesn't cling to my dry patches at all. It goes on smoothly and is quick and easy to blend because of the liquidy runny consistency.
I always apply my foundations with a sponge so this foundation was no different. I found that it blended really well into my skin with my sponge and looked seamless and flawless. I used all of my favourite products on top to see how the foundation would perform with the products I trust and everything went on top so beautifully I was so impressed.
In my opinion this foundation is 100% worth the price as its very affordable. I got mine at Superdrug for £9.99. I got the shade 130 true beige which is a pretty spot on shade match for me. This foundation comes in a really good range of shades for fair to deep skin tones.
Finding an affordable foundation with great coverage that also looks great on the skin, that isn't cakey or heavy feeling and that lasts a long time on the skin can be hard but in my opinion L'Oreal have definitely managed to do that with this foundation. This foundation has to be one of my favourite drugstore foundations I have tried so far and is even comparable to some high end foundations. It is long lasting and still looks good by the end of the day.
The only thing I don't really like about this foundation is that it has quite a strong scent but it's not a deal breaker for me and it tends to settle down a while after applying it.
As you can see from the swatch below, the foundation has a very runny, liquidy consistency.
