Lazy Day Essentials

With being a mummy of three very demanding but very cute little rascals I very rarely get a full day to myself to just be super lazy and to pamper myself but when I do I absolutely love it and appreciate it very much. It's very important not only as a mother but for everyone to take some time out sometimes to relax and re energise yourself. I just love waking up in the morning knowing I don't have anywhere to go or anything to do that day especially when the weather is miserable outside. The first thing I do when I get up in the morning is put the heating on as I just love being warm and toasty and it also heats up the water for the amazing bath I have planned for later in the day. I then make myself a hot cup of tea and some breakfast and prepare myself for the exciting lazy day ahead of me.

Lazy Day Plans

1. When my lazy day starts the first thing I do is light a beautiful smelling candle and run a lovely hot bath for myself with some bath bombs or bath salts and an exfoliating body scrub

2.  After the bath I put on my favourite fleece pyjamas, dressing gown and slippers

3. I then snuggle up on the sofa with my cushion, blanket and hot water bottle for extra cosiness

4. While on the sofa I'll either read a book, put earphones in and listen to some music or binge watch a good TV show on Netflix

5. I'll make sure I have a cup of tea in a super cute mug and a delicious snack with me

6. Sometimes I'll give my skin a nice treat with a hydrating mud mask and file and paint my nails

7. And if I really feel like treating myself I'll put on my eye mask and have a quick power nap
