My Favourite Dry Shampoos

Is dry shampoo not the best invention in the whole world??! Ok maybe a slight over exaggeration but in all seriousness it is genious and a god send for me as I have the oiliest hair in the whole world and to be honest I really could not be bothered washing my hair every day and that is where dry shampoo comes in. I have tried out a lot of different dry shampoos from different brands as I think I might actually have a slight obsession with them I just love them and I have managed to narrow them down to my top 3 favourites for you guys today.

Batiste Dry Shampoo Floral and Flirty Blush £2.99 200ml

I really don't think I need to say much about Batiste the brand as everyone and their mother, sister, granny and grannys dog knows about and uses Batiste's dry shampoo and it is the UK's No. 1 dry shampoo. I absolutely love this dry shampoo as it almost instantly makes my hair look freshly washed and full of volume and texture and life again its amazing. It definitely gives my hair an extra couple of days of looking clean before having to wash it which is such a lifesaver for me. It also smells delicious and you can smell it for hours after spraying it. One thing I'm not too fussed about with this dry shampoo is that it leaves quite a lot of white residue on your hair once first sprayed but it does go away when u rub it in and brush it through so it's not that big of a deal. I also sometimes use this product on my hair when it is clean just to give my hair extra volume and it is amazing for that also.

Superdrug Dry Shampoo Cocoa Brownie £1.99 150ml

This dry shampoo is slightly different as it is a colour dry shampoo for brunettes and it refreshes hair in between washes with a hint of colour. I love using this to cover my grey hairs in between hair dyes as well as to make my hair look clean. It does such an amazing job at both and it also gives my hair lots of volume and texture. The down side to this product is that it is very messy and it transfers onto hands and clothes and if you are not careful you can spray it all over your face but I think this product is so good and really improves the look of my hair in between dyes and washes.

Herbal Essences Dry Shampoo Uplifting Volume £2.99 180ml

What I love most about this dry shampoo is that it is so easy to spray onto the hair and it is a finer mist than the batiste and the superdrug one. I also love how it doesn't leave your hair white once sprayed it is completely invisible. I can't feel anything in my hair at all when I use this it is so lightweight and my hair still has movement and isn't sticky at all. It has the most beautiful citrus scent and in my opinion smells the nicest out of all three. One difference I have noticed about this dry shampoo is that it doesn't give my hair as much volume or texture as the batiste one but I still love it nonetheless.

All of these dry shampoos are super affordable and I love them all equally and they save my life on a regular basis (not quite) LOL.

Please let me know in the comments section below what your favourite dry shampoos are as I would love to try out some more and compare them to my favourite ones.

Thanks for reading
Love Anita
