Four Really Good Affordable Eyebrow Pencils

Hi guys I hope you're all keeping well I'm back with a quick and simple but hopefully helpful blog post today about four of my favourite affordable eyebrow pencils and why I love them - I hope you enjoy.

I've been loving eyebrow pencils lately as opposed to a powder or pomade etc as they are really quick, easy and handy and don't dry out quickly like pomades can do. They are also great for travelling with and for putting in your bag for touch ups throughout the day. The four I am going to mention today are super affordable, great quality and are easily accessible in stores or online and range in price from £2.50 to £7 - total bargain!

1. BH Cosmetics Studio Pro HD Brow Pencil

2. LA Girl Shady Slim Brow Pencil

BH Cosmetics Studio Pro HD Brow Pencil - Ebony and LA Girl Shady Slim Brow Pencil - Blackest Brown are my favourite out of the four pencils as they are both long wearing and easy to use. They both have a really fine tip which gives a very precise application and I can create realistic hair strokes with them and can create a more fluffy natural looking brow without them looking too harsh.

They are both also really nice deep cool toned shades and are very pigmented with a great formula that's not too dry or too waxy just the perfect in between which i like as they don't slip and slide or smudge and it is harder to go overboard and make a mess. They last all day and don't fade.

The BH Cosmetics pencil has 8g of product, has 5 shades and costs £7 and the LA Girl pencil has 0.08g of product, has 10 shades and costs £5.

3. Makeup Revolution Duo Brow Pencil

4. Wet n Wild Ultimatebrow Retractable Brow Pencil

I also really like the Makeup Revolution Duo Brow Pencil - Dark Brown and Wet n Wild UltimateBrow Retractable Pencil - Medium Brown

These are the two most affordable eyebrow pencils I have ever tried. They both have a softer and slightly waxy formula compared to the other two and they both have a similar angled triangular shape.

These pencils are both very pigmented and are quick and easy to apply. They glide on smoothly without tugging, don't go on patchy, are buildable and are quite precise. They are not too soft that they crumble while doing my brows but also not too hard that it feels scratchy on my skin. The fact that the formula is a little more waxy means they actually smooth my brows down and they last all day without smudging or wearing off.

The only negatives I have is the shade range of both these pencils as there are only three different shades in both pencils which isn't great. The dark brown in the Makeup Revolution pencil works well for me but I wish the Wet n Wild pencil came in a deeper shade as the medium brown is a little too light for my hair colour but I can make it work by using a deeper brow mascara over the top.

The Makeup Revolution pencil has 1.05g of product, comes in 3 shades and is £2.50 and the Wet n Wild pencil has 0.2g of product, comes in 3 shades and is £3.

Left To Right - Makeup Revolution, BH Cosmetics, LA Girl, Wet n Wild

Hope You Enjoyed.
Lots Of Love,
Anita.
