My showertime/bathtime routine

Ok so my showertime/bathtime routine isn't anything very fancy luxurious or exciting as with having three kids I know I have a very short window of opportunity before the bathroom door starts knocking and either it's one of my kids needing a pee baring in mind there are three toilets in our house yes THREE or it's my partner asking if i'm going to be long as the baby is crying uhhhhh! In saying that the products I use work perfectly for me and I love them and my skin does too.

Firstly before I get into the shower/bath I shave with my Veet Sensitive Precision Beauty Styler. My partner bought this for me for christmas after plenty of hints from me every time the advert would come on the TV. It just makes shaving so quick and easy with minimal effort and that is why I love it as I am so lazy.

Next I shampoo and condition my hair. The shampoo and conditioner I nearly always use is this schwarzkopf supersoft colour shine shampoo and conditioner for coloured or highlighted hair. I just find it gives my hair a really good clean and leaves it smelling gorgeous and feeling soft and healthy and looking shiny. It also makes my home hair dye last a lot longer too.

After I wash my hair it is time to wash my body with my favourite shower gel ever. This Original Source shower gel smells absolutely divine you could actually eat it I love it so much and always buy another one when it runs out.

Then it is time for my favourite part of my showertime/bathtime routine - EXFOLIATION! This is my facial exfoliator and my body exfoliator. For my face it is the Simple kind to skin smoothing facial scrub and for my body it is the Cocoa Brown 'tough stuff' 3 in 1 body scrub.

I love this tough stuff body exfoliator it's great for getting rid of old tan if I'm wearing any and getting rid of dry flaky dead skin. My skin always feels like pure silk after I use this and my new tan goes on flawlessly after I have used this. An added bonus is that it smells so yummy of the cocoa brown signature scent.

This is my favourite facial scrub in the whole world and I have tried so many different ones. It gives my face an amazing clean without irritating it and makes my skin feel so smooth and soft. After I have used this my makeup goes on so much smoother and looks airbrushed.

I used to use exfoliating gloves in the shower but because I use an exfoliating body scrub now I use this pretty pink sponge and it does the job nicely.  

I have a jacuzzi bath so when I get my kids to bed at night I sometimes have a jacuzzi instead of a shower and when I do I always use these radox bath salts. It just feels so luxurious and relaxing when these bath salts are in the bath and I always feel so relaxed and sleepy after and usually sleep like a log that night.

So there you have it my simple yet effective showertime/bathtime routine. It always feels like a real treat when I go to the shower or bath as I don't get much time to myself being a stay at home mum of three and it's my time to relax and unwind and feel the stresses of the day just melting away.
