My First Birchbox Delivery - June 2017

So I decided I wanted to try a monthly subscription beauty box and after lots of research I chose to go with Birchbox. What attracted me to Birchbox was the fact that you can try new brands and products that are personalised to your skin, hair and style. You just create your own beauty profile and then you will get products sent to you that suit your skin type, skin colour. hair type, hair colour, etc.

Every month you get sent five products.
The price is £10 per month plus £2.95 p+p.
On their website Birchbox claims that we can choose either a product or a box design every month and this month we got to choose between two colour combinations of bag, either lilac and mint (the one I got) or lilac and yellow.
This month’s theme is ‘Daytripping‘ and the Birchbag has been inspired by those UK summer day trips.
I also got a free Ciate bronzer as it was my first Birchbox and two of my 5 products were full sized.

What I got in my bag

In June you get this super cute little bag instead of the usual box. I am going to keep my everyday must have makeup in this bag. I just love it.

Ciate Bronzer: This is the free ciate bronzer I got. It is just so tiny and cute and the colour is just perfect for my pale skin I really like it and it blends out very well.

Meech and Mia eyebrow pencil full size: this is a pretty good eyebrow pencil although I don't tend to use pencils to fill in my brows very often but I will definitely give this a go.

SCRUB LOVE Hydrating Coconut Oil Body scrub: Really loving this body scrub for my dry skin and it smells great.

COWSHED Cow Pat moisturising hand cream full size: This smells delicious and is very soft and moisturising on the hands. 

amika dry shampoo: I like this dry shampoo it works really well and definitely gives me another day out of my hair before I have to wash it.

ARROW ENHANCE waterproof eyeliner: Really creamy and pigmented and lasts ages. Love the colour and it makes me look more awake.

My Verdict

All in all I'm very happy with Birchbox. So far all the products I have received are great and it's so exciting getting new surprise products coming to your door every month it's like a wee present to yourself. My favourite product I received this month has to be the Arrow eyeliner I love it and I know I am going to be reaching for it lots over the Summer months especially. I think that for £10 a month it is totally worth it as a lot of the products are £10 each and you're getting 5 products for that amount - Total Bargain!
